View from Torrey Pines : 16" x 20", Oil on Panel. Just south of Solana Beach, in Del Mar, is the truly beautiful Torrey Pines Preserve. Above the beautiful beach are trails winding through magnificent sandstone bluffs - home of the Torrey Pine trees. Adjacent to the preserve is the world famous golf course. When I'm there, I always imagine what it must have felt like to have been one of the California Indians who lived there long ago.
