Nestled
In the morning of the day I painted this, Patrick McCoy dredged my pond... and bought a painting. We had a conversation in which he told me how he and his wife had chosen to build down low on their property, forgoing a view higher up, because they wanted to feel nestled. In the afternoon, I went out painting, and chose this view, I think because of that conversation. Thank you Joyce and Harvey George for letting me stand on your property for this and "What the Lifting Fog Revealed" (see above). Oil on panel, 12" x 16"; price includes frame.
